AutoCAD Training - for Current Users

Duration:

2 days duration, designed for people with a working knowledge of AutoCAD

Objectives:

This session is designed for current users of AutoCAD - and it is assumed that they do have a basic working knowledge equal to the level of our AutoCAD (Introduction) course specification. The course is student led to reinforce the areas of learning, which is specific to their needs and interest. It is also encouraged that users bring along sample drawings that could be reviewed, where appropriate, with the trainer as well.

A large part of the courses is devoted to a practical use of the software. The student is guided through the features and facilities by a series of hands on exercises relevant to their needs.

Setting up the behaviors
Automatic save time
Object selection
Grips, tool bars etc.
File recovery.
Purging files.
Setting out model space.
Poly lines and poly line figures.
Modifying poly lines and figures.
Using GRIPS
 Using the design centre blocks.
Re-sizing design centre blocks.
Creating Blocks.
Nesting Blocks
Writing blocks as files.
Attributing blocks Hatching.
Using line types and line type scales.
Line weights.
External referencing files.
A review of paper/model space.

Venues and Delivery:

We offer this course on a regular basis at our training venue in Broadwood Stadium, Cumbernauld, Glasgow, Scotland, as well as offering in-house or bespoke training for HR departments or companies.
