Insight Training Cancellation Policy
Insight Training – Terms & Conditions – updated and effective from 27 September 2018, and applies to all existing and new companies/organisations booked or who will be booking courses in the future.
BOOKING PROCEDURE & COURSE CONFIRMATION
A booking is made when either the client telephones or emails requesting either a place(s) on one of our public workshops, delivery of a company-specific training at our venue or delivery of on-site training.
In all circumstances, a confirmation email from Insight TSL must be received from our office detailing your booking and where possible joining instructions for workshops.
All emails communicated by Insight TSL, including course confirmations, will have clearly stated at the footer area, a link to these terms and conditions of business.
SUBSTITUTION, CANCELLATION, AND TRANSFER
The customer may substitute a delegate on a course upon notifying Insight TSL in writing at no additional charge.
The customer agrees to pay the following the applicable % charges to Insight TSL for whatever reason a delegate fails to attend, cancels, transfers or withdraws from a course without providing at least 10 working days’ written / email notice prior to the IT training course scheduled start for the course.
Please note a cancellation fee refers to a specific course date and therefore a transfer to a later course is considered as a cancellation and the cancellation fee structure below applies.
A £100 (ExVAT) administrative fee will be applied – if it is allowed by Insight TSL senior management to be rescheduled.
However, the original invoice must be paid in full prior to rescheduled dates being confirmed to the client.
A separate invoice will be raised for the administration fee(s).
Written notice of cancellation or transfer on a public IT training course scheduled courses:
Within 6-10 working days before the course date: 50% of the course fee is due for payment.
Within 0 – 5 working days before the course date: 100% of the course fee is due for payment.
Written Notice of Cancellation or Transfer – Onsite or Company Specific Courses:
Within 10 working days: 100% of the course fee is due for payment.
Any cancellation involving booked travel arrangements i.e. flights, trains or ferry journeys: as a minimum 50% is due for payment.
PAYMENT TERMS & METHODS
Payment is due from the date of invoice for all vetted companies a, however, all individuals (i.e. the course fee/invoice not being paid by a company or an organisation) booking courses must have their invoice paid to our office 5 days prior to the course date.
CANCELLATIONS AND COURSES CHANGES by Insight TSL
Insight TSL will make all reasonable endeavors to ensure any training course for which bookings have been accepted is not canceled however, we reserve the right to cancel, change or reschedule IT training courses without prior notice. If it becomes necessary for Insight Training to cancel a course, irrespective of the amount of warning given – attendees will be offered alternative dates. If the new scheduled date for the training course is deemed not suitable – Insight Training will refund the amount paid. No other form of compensation will be given.
